Memorial Medical Center Creates Strategic Plan for Moving Forward, Final

-In moving the hospital forward, Memorial Medical Center has come up with a strategic plan suited for their situation.The plan consists of four parts: access to care, services developed, community partnership, and financial strategies.
In regards to financial strategies, their current initiatives include patient billing and customer service, strategies for capital improvement financing and the continuing of electronic record implementation. Some completed initiatives include having completed some of the electronic records and having a strategic plan for the Memorial Medical Center Foundation.
In the final category, community partnerships, MMC has several initiatives they?re trying to accomplish including exploring the option of having MMC provide mental health services, develop partnership with the Amish/Mennonite communities, update MMC?s phone systems, expand the hospital?s community outreach and grow occupational health services to further reach business and industry in Clark County.
