New Board Member Welcomed During Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board gave the Oath of Office to new member Mark Shain before their meeting on Wednesday of last week.Former member Roger Ehlers made the decision to not run for re-election to the board this Spring. Mark Shain, a bus driver with the district, was elected into his seat and was welcomed by Jennifer Vogler, Greenwood?s Superintendent. Miss Vogler also thanked Mr. Ehlers for his years of service as a school board member. She said, ?His dedication and support for our great Greenwood Schools is much appreciated.?
The board also accepted a $50 donation from Sharon Rogers to students in need of assistance with the food service program. They also approved a Family Medical Leave Request for the district?s guidance counselor and a field trip to the FBLA National Leadership Conference.
