Owen City Council Hears Report on Antennas on the Water Tower

Thursday, April 17th, 2014 -- 9:43 AM

-The Owen City Council heard more about antennas being placed on top of the water tower in Owen.

Mark Renderman, the Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire District Administrator, explained that he is working with DB Wireless and Air Communications regarding their antennas on top of the water tower. If there becomes an interference problem with DB Wireless?s antenna, DB will remove their antenna from the water tower.

Owen?s Police Chief, Andrew Schade, had denied a license application from Gunner Bernitt. Bernitt requested that the Council reconsider his application and to allow the Council to read the police report that Chief Schade obtained.

The council also approved to send the offer to purchase city property from Brian Bredlau to the City Planning Commission.

Finally, during the public opinion portion of the meeting, Patrick Pfeffer read a list of complaints against the City and turned it over to the Police Chief to investigate.
