Neillsville Mayor Remains in Place, One Area Referendum Passes, Another Fails

-Taking a look at some of the unofficial results for the contested races for the 2014 April 1st Spring Elections.Steve Mabie will remain the mayor of Neillsville after winning against Dewey Poeschel, 315 to 154.
For the Clark County Board of Supervisors' races, in District 10 Jeff Kolzow won against Bryce Luchterhand, 53 to 34. District 11 had Scott Jalling winning against Andrew Schade, 198 to 85. District 28 had William Neville Jr. over Charles Harwick, 58 to 41. Finally, in District 29 it was Randy Sebesta over Norman Casey Wesenberg, 62 to 61.
For the referenda, the Fremont area voted down the accepting of a grant and building a new community hall and fire district with 159 people voting no and 85 voting yes. The Owen-Withee area did approve the budget override referendum for the district with 484 voting yes and 217 voting no.
