Rich Seubert?s Celebrity Trap Shoot For Heart Disease

Sunday, March 30th, 2014 -- 8:19 AM

Super Bowl champion and Wisconsin native Rich Seubert continues to lead efforts that raise awareness and support for heart research, because he knows firsthand how heart disease affects Wisconsin families.

And this year, former Green Bay Packers players are joining the cause.
Rich Seubert?s Celebrity Trap Shoot, presented by Security Health Plan, returns on April 12 to the Eau Claire Rod & Gun Club for the sixth year. To date, the event has raised nearly $1 million for heart research at Marshfield Clinic, including $172,000 in 2013.

The Trap Shoot was launched in 2008 on the heels of the New York Giants Super Bowl win. Seubert, who played for the Giants from 2001 to 2010, will be joined by his former teammates, Kevin Boss, Chris Snee, and Grey Reugamer, as well as former Giant players Jim Cordle, Kevin Boothe and Chris Bober.
Former Packers scheduled to attend include Bill Ferrario, Bill Schroeder, Tony Fisher and Dexter McNabb. Reugamer also is a former member of the Packers.
In addition to the trap shoot, this year?s event will feature various fun side events. A hors d?oeuvres reception, live auction and music will follow at The Florian Gardens.
