Two Men Arrested in Abbotsford Drug Bust Appear in Clark County Court

-Two men arrested during a drug bust in Abbotsford appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.At the end of February, the Clark County Sheriff?s Department and Colby-Abbotsford Police Department executed a search warrant on Sycamore Street in the City of Abbostford. Authorities said the methamphetamine taken from the home was worth $12,000.
22-year-old Anthony Rogers of Wausau and 26-year-old Jonathan Gates of Ogema were arrested during the bust. Rogers has been charged with possession of amphetamine, possession of THC and a felon possessing a firearm. Gates has been charged with possession of amphetamine and felony bail jumping.
Both men appeared in court without an attorney and requested more time to find one. Rogers also requested that he be allowed back onto the property to get his stuff. The judge and state agreed, but only if he does so by use of a third party.
Both men will appear in court again in April.
