BREAKING: Neillsville School District Closed Today so the District and Neillsville Police Department Can Investigate Potential

-The Neillsville School District is closed today due to a potential threat that was identified this morning.According to District Administrator John Gaier, last night a student, or several students, on the social media site Snap Chat mentioned a potential threat at the School District of Neillsvile.
The district discovered this at 6am this morning and decided to close the school and meet with the Neillsville Police Department to investigate the incident.
Mr. Gaier said that the threat was very general and DID NOT identify any specific student or students. He also said that there is no continuing threat to the district, students, or the community today.
They closed the school today as a precaution and so an investigation can occur.
