Owen-Withee School Board Handles Employment Matters

-The Owen-Withee School Board discussed employment matters at their Monday meeting.The Board unanimously approved Mark Meyers?, Candy Rabska?s and Wayne Lubke?s resignations, for the purpose of retiring, effective at the end of the school year. The Board accepted the three teacher?s resignations and thanked these teachers for the many years of education they have provided to the students of Owen-Withee. The board wished each of these teachers the very best as they start a new and exciting chapter in their lives.
The board also approved the hiring of Susan Nelson as a Title I Reading teacher. The Board voted unanimously to offer a contract to Susan for the purpose of hiring her as an elementary teacher for the 2014-15 school year.
The Board voted unanimously to offer a contract to Jackie Peissig to serve as the district's assistant softball coach for the 2014 season. Jackie played on Owen-Withee?s team four years during high school and has spent the past two summers coaching the district?s kids in their summer leagues.
