Granton School Board Receives an Update on District's Technology

-The Granton School Board heard a technology update and approved a few resignations at their meeting on Monday evening.Rick Marks, the Technology Coordinator at Granton updated the school board on the status of the district's technology as well as proposed additions for the 2014-2015 school year. The board also approved the resignation of Art Teacher Sarah Gilbert, Instrumental Music Teacher James Voss and Math Teacher John Jarecki. These will be effective at the end of the school year.
The board also approved the second reading of school board policy Chapter 10, Sections A ? I, the first reading of school board policy Chapter 10, Sections J ? PB and they approved the Youth Options Requests for nine students for the 2014-2015 school year
The board tabled a request to review and have a waiver of graduation requirements and tabled the purchase of two sets of student desks until their next school board meeting. They also tabled the purchase of a new Math program until later this spring.
