2014 Herb Kohl Foundation Awards

-The selection committee for the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Scholarship and Fellowship Program has announced the recipients of the 2014 Herb Kohl Foundation Awards for students and teachers.The $1,000 awards are being made to 100 teachers, their schools and 187 graduating high school students. The Kohl Foundation Scholarship and Fellowship Program was established by Herb Kohl, a now retired US Senator, in 1990. To date, the foundation has awarded $8.6 million to Wisconsin educators, students and schools.
CESA 10 recipients, which include most schools in Clark County, of the 2014 Kohl Educational Foundation Excellence Scholar Award includes Emma Voss of the Neillsville High School, Laura Kaiser of the Loyal High School, Megan Cramer of the Greenwood High School, Albert Goerlitz of the Owen-Withee High School and Alyssa Beasley of the Osseo-Fairchild High School.
Cherish Byrd of Medford was selected as a 2014 Kohl Educational Foundation Fellow.
Finally, recipients of the 2014 Kohl Educational Foundation Initiative Scholar Award includes Logan Fulwiler of the Loyal High School, McKayla Simington of the Owen-Withee High School, Derek Malinowski of the Gilman High School and Kyle Collis of the Cadott High School.
