Clark County Schools Forum, Part 3

-The Clark County Schools Forum was held at Owen-Withee on Monday evening.One reason this forum was held was to allow the local school district?s administrators and board members work towards achieving their SMART Goals. One of those goals, was having direct contact with their legislators. Newly elected Representative of the 69th District, Bob Kulp of Stratford, was on hand to hear the concerns of the administrators and board members and offer his thoughts.
Those present talked about a wide variety of topics with Representative Kulp. They talked about the Student Information Systems and having the choice of multiple vendors as opposed to the one system they were initially told to use. The admins talked about the cost that goes into training people on a new system. Representative Kulp said that in a real economy there should be a free market with multiple sources to choose from.
The Clark County Schools Forum had administrators and board members from many local schools including Owen-Withee, Greenwood and Neillsville.
