Marshfield Man Charged In Ring Theft

A Marshfield man accused of stealing rings during a Christmas Party is facing criminal charges.Charges have been filed against 42-year-old Bradley Welch after he stole $5,000 worth of rings during a Christmas Party in Eau Claire. Bradley allegedly tried to sell the rings to jewelry stores, but he wasn?t allowed to without identification. Bradley then had a friend sell one of them.
Welch did later admit to the crime and he has burglary and theft as a repeater charges filed against him.
Welch is free on a signature bond. He will appear in court again in April and if convicted he could spend close to 19 years in prison.
