Loyal School Board Approves Plan for Make Up Days

-The Loyal School District has approved a plan to make up their school days due to the wicked winter weather we?ve experienced this year.Loyal will be adding 5 minutes to their school day starting March 3rd. They will also remove three early release days from the calendar. That time is usually spent for teacher in-service, but it will be moved to after school hours.
The board also picked the 2014 Valedictorian and Salutatorian. The Valedictorian is Laura Kaiser and the Salutatorian is Valerie Brecht.
The Loyal Board also approved to share a Family and Consumer Education Teacher with Granton as well as a K-12 General/Vocal Music Teacher. A couple Granton Students will also come to Loyal for Jr. High Baseball. They also approved to share a Tech Specialist with Spencer and that will not exceed last year?s cost.
