Greenwood School Board Approves Calendar and Class

The 2014-2015 School Calendar was discussed at the Greenwood School Board meeting this past week.The board reviewed and approved the next school year?s calendar. Greenwood?s Superintendent, Jennifer Vogler, met with the superintendents from Loyal and Neillsville and with the district?s teachers to plan the calendar.
The board also approved the CESA 10 Service Contract and approved the
Transcripted Accounting class with CVTC. Miss Vogler thanked Ms. Rank for her work to provide this opportunity for Greenwood?s students.
Finally, the board heard class size considerations and resulting class size reductions. Mr. Fischer shared the class size information with school board members and noted the scheduling process is not done. A special school board meeting has been set for March 6 at 7:30 to take any action as needed for low class sizes. The board has done this for the last three years.
