Second Traffic Fatality in Clark County

Clark County authorities are investigating a two vehicle crash that took the life of one of the drivers. The accident occurred this morning (Fri) at the intersection of County Hwy O and State Hwy 29 in the Township of Hixon.A vehicle driven by 56 year old Dennis G. Dumke of Owen entered the intersection of State Hwy 29 and failed to yield to a semi-tractor driven by 42 year old Daniel W. Landrum of Wausau. Dennis was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Clark County Coroner Richard Schleifer. This is the second fatality for Clark County in 2014.
