Former Cadott Girls Basketball Coash Facing Sexual Assault Charges

-A former Cadott Girls Basketball Coach is facing charges of sexual assault.According to the Cadott Police Department, they received information from the Cadott School District that the Girls Basketball Coach, Andrew L. Hungerholt, resigned from his coaching position, citing personal reasons.
Additional information surrounding Hungerholt's resignation led to an investigation revealing his physical involvement with a player on his team, who is under the age of 18.
Through investigating it was learned that there were several occasions when Hungerholt and the juvenile female had met in private where, according to interviews with both parties, they had kissed and had sexual contact in the juvenile's vehicle on at least one of those occasions in Chippewa County. Additional contact had occurred between the two in both Eau Claire and Fall Creek, according to Hungerholt and the juvenile.
Hungerholt will be referred to the Chippewa County District Attorney for Sexual Assault of a Student by a School Instructional Staff Person.
