Final Items from Neillsville City Council Meeting

-Here are some final items from the Neillsville City Council?s Tuesday meeting.The city was able to locate the new owner of the property on 15th street that was destroyed in a fire last Spring. The city had lost track of her, but due to charges filed against her in another county, they were able to locate her.
They will serve the owner a raze order to take down the structure and she has 30 days to do so. It was also discovered that the former owner of this property had a mortgage on the home that now may be the previous owner?s responsibility.
The council also heard a report from a recent Heritage Days Committee Meeting, the recent Neillsville Library Board Meeting and the public works report.
