Coronavirus Numbers for March 12th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,160 positive incases, an increase of 2 cases over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 18 are currently active.  Clark County has had 59 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 568,352 positive cases (an increase of 502 over the previous day) and 6,524 deaths, no increase over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 26,670, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 647,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 647,108 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 1,837,885 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,101 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,084 positive and 105 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,583 positive and 27 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,723 positive and 182 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,772 positive and 21 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,700 positive and 76 deaths.
