Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area Celebrating 65 Years of Service

-Bruce Mound Winter Sports area is celebrating its 65th Anniversary this year.I spoke with Jim Smagacz of the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department. Jim said, ?We have downhill skiing, snowboarding, inner-tubing and we offer lessons for skiing and snowboarding. Everything at a family affordable price.?
Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area was established in 1948 and Clark County has operated Bruce Mound, which has enhanced winter recreation for any age group, since 1960.
Bruce Mound is proud to be one of Wisconsin's great attractions with premium skiing conditions in a winter wonderland. The slopes are lighted for fantastic night adventures. State of the art snow making and grooming capabilities make every day like a fresh snowfall.
Bruce Mound celebrated 65 years of service during Family Fun Night on Friday of last week. The event was a big success and Jodi Gross provided delicious cupcakes to help celebrate.
Bruce Mound is open Friday nights from 5pm-10pm and 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
