Coronavirus Numbers for March 11th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,158 positive incases, no increase in cases over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 19 are currently active.  Clark County has had 58 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 567,850 positive cases (an increase of 516 over the previous day) and 6,524 deaths, an increase of 14 cases over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 26,630, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 626,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 626,472 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 1,779,404 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,093 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,074 positive and 105 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,584 positive and 28 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,717 positive and 182 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,772 positive and 21 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,701 positive and 76 deaths.
