Alma Center Man Hurt in Trempealeau County Crash

One person was hurt in a car vs. semi crash in Trempealeau County.

According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, just before 2pm on Tuesday, a vehicle, driven by 25-year-old Gustavo Escamilla of Alma Center, was heading north on Highway 93.  Escamilla stated he dozed off, his vehicle crossed the centerline, and he struck a semi heading south.

Escamilla was taken to the hospital for treatment.  The driver of the semi and his passenger were not injured in the accident.
