Names Released In Pittsville Crash

The names of a man involved in the crash near Pittsville has been released.According to the Wood County Sheriff's Department, the crash occurred around 12:30pm on State Highway 80.
The department said that a truck, driven by 73-year-old Allen Van Natta of Nekoosa, began to make a U-turn and a vehicle heading south driven by a 69-year-old Babcock man crashed into the truck. Van Natta was hit on the driver's side.
The 73-year-old was airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield, but he later died of his injuries. The other driver suffered minor injuries.
