5 Arrested in Jackson County Drug Bust

-The Jackson County Emergency Response team executed a search warrant for drugs, arrested 5 people and removed a child from their custody on Tuesday of last week.On Tuesday, December 17th around 11:30pm, the Jackson County Emergency Response Team, with a MEG Investigator, and a La Crosse County Investigator executed a drug search warrant at 21 First Street in the Village of Taylor in Jackson County.
Investigators received tips that methamphetamine was possibly being manufactured and distributed from the residence and a child was possibly in harm's way due to the drug activity occurring. During the execution of the search warrant, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, numerous items of stolen property, and a firearm were located. A child was also removed from the residence and placed in protective custody.
The 5 people arrested were 37-year-old Laura Rud, 33-year-old Holly Stanfield, 32-year-old Terrance Whitehead, 38-year-old Joshua Smith and 30 year-old Robert Stanfield.
