Loyal School Board Meeting, 12/18/13

-Several items were discussed during the Loyal School Board?s meeting on Wednesday.They had the second reading of their gifted/talented, fund balance and board emails policies.
They discussed the Spring school board election. There are currently openings for all areas in the Loyal School District.
They also discussed the State School Board Convention in late January and approved an out of state choir trip to Iowa.
Finally, it was mentioned that, once again, the school districts under CESA 10?s jurisdiction did not get the Race to the Top Grant, but an excellent effort was given by CESA 10.
Finally, the board discussed Common Core Standards and other items being considered by the legislature.
