Greenwood School Board Meeting, 12/18/13

-Several important items were discussed at the Greenwood School Board Meeting on Monday evening.The board accepted donations from Mrs. Rita Steffen who donated two dump trucks for the elementary students to use and the United Methodist Church in Loyal donated $200 for the district to use to buy winter clothing items or toys.
Tammy Jacobs, Christopher Walbrun and Pam Resech were approved as volunteers for the district and Brittani Morrow was approved as a substitute teacher after she graduates this month.
Several field trips were approved including Mr. Post?s request to travel to UM-Duluth and the Great Lakes Aquarium. Mrs. Lamont requested to travel to the Chanhassen Theatre and Mall of America.
The policy committee reviewed the Electronic Policy and Support Staff OPEB benefits. A second reading will take place in January regarding both of these items.
Finally the board approved to continue the football co-op with Granton, approved the High School Course Descriptions Guide and reviewed the Energy Exemption Project Report.
