Marshfield Man Expected to be Charged with Child Abuse

-A Marshfield man is expected to be charged with child abuse.According to court records, an investigation began into the incident on October 24th after an 11-week-old child was taken to the doctor with multiple fractures.
The child had two fractures to its left arm, three fractured ribs, and a possible fracture to its leg. A doctor said these types of injuries to the limbs is consistent with constant yanking or pulling being done to them. The injuries to the ribs are consistent with the chest being squeezed or pushed to tightly.
The child?s father, 21-year-old Sebastian Suchomel, said he may have held the child too tightly.
Suchomel is currently in custody in the Wood County Jail and he is expected to be formally charged in January.
