Thursday, December 12th, 2013 -- 8:17 AM
-On Thursday, December 12th and Friday December 13th a bridge on WIS 98 between Loyal and Spencer will be closed for bridge repairs.A recent inspection revealed deficiencies in the bridge that is located over the Yellow River. During the work, WIS 98 will be detoured for two days, but will be open at night. Motorists will need to use County Highways Y, H, and V in Clark, Wood and Marathon counties during the closure.
The bridge was constructed in 1935. The work was supposed to start Wednesday, but the frigid temperatures have pushed back the start date to today.
