Memorial Medical Center To Implement CPSI system.

Memorial Medical Center will begin the 2nd phase of its electronic health records implementation with the CPSI system.MMC is excited that the first phase was a success and hope the community shares their enthusiasm as they make this next transition.
What it will mean for their patients in the long term is that MMC will have the improved capability to provide shared records access, while still maintaining confidentiality, higher quality assurance, more efficiency and ultimately better service to their patients.
What the 2nd phase of CPSI implementation means to their patients, in the short term, for the month of December, for their clinic visits, is that patients will have extra time with their medical provider as each appointment has been scheduled with an additional 15 minutes, patients providers will now have a laptop in the room and be recording health information during the visit and a CPSI staff person will be on site and available to the medical provider as needed to assist them with questions or provide support.
