69th District Special Election Today

-Today, November 19th, resident in the 69th district of Wisconsin, which includes portions of Clark, Wood, Taylor and Marathon Counties, will vote for a new representative in the state assembly.

This election came about after Scott Suder, who held the position since the late 90?s to this year, resigned to take a position with the Wisconsin Public Service Commission.

When the special election was called a total of six candidates threw their name into the ring including one Democrat, Ken Slezak of Neillsville, one Independent, Tim Swiggum of Owen, and four Republicans including Bob Kulp of Stratford, Scott Noble of Marshfield, Tommy Dahlen of Granton and Alanna Feddick of Marshfield.

Bob Kulp won the special election primary, which was held on October 22nd, with 2,258 votes and today he?ll face Slezak and Swiggum for the 69th Assembly Seat.
