More Budget Numbers from Neillsville Finance Committee Meeting

-Taking a look at some other budget numbers from city departments and how they contributed to Neillsville?s 2014 budget.The Clerk-Treasurer?s budget of $63,183 for 2014 was presented. That is just shy of a $7,000 increase compared to this year?s $56,217 budget. The increase there can mainly be contributed to the extra help that was hired for the office.
The 2014 Administration budget of $832,303 for 2014 was presented. That is just shy of a $37,000 increase compared to 2013?s $795,332. Some of the bigger increases include the elections, property and liability insurance, Social Security and Hospital Insurance lines of the budget.
The estimated 2013 general funds rollover came to $231,988. Also, the city did cut many unneeded lines of the budget to help balance the books. That total came to $119,857.
