Koula Receives Extended Deadline for Appeal

-(La Crosse Tribune) A state appeals court Monday extended Eric Koula's deadline to file an appeal in his case until Nov. 18, according to court records.The deadline was pushed back for the fourth time.
Koula's case drew national attention when he was convicted by a jury of executing his parents on May 21, 2010, in their town of Barre house and forging a $50,000 check drawn from their investment account.
His attorney argued his parents were the unintended victims of a hit man.
