Coronavirus Numbers for March 4th

For local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 3,158 positive incases, no increase over yesterday.  Of the total number of cases, 20 are currently active.  Clark County has had 57 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 564,131 positive cases (an increase of 539 over the previous day) and 6,458 deaths, an increase of 18 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 26,279, or 4%, have been hospitalized.

More than 524,000 Wisconsin residents have finished their vaccine series for COVID-19.  According to preliminary state Department of Health Services’ data, there have been 524,908 Wisconsinites fully vaccinated, or have received both doses of the COVID-19 shot, to date.  DHS notes that 1,507,834 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has been administered in all.

In total, Chippewa has seen 7,057 positive and 93 deaths.

Eau Claire has seen 11,033 positive and 105 deaths.

Jackson has seen 2,580 positive and 23 deaths.

Marathon has seen 13,668 positive and 181 deaths.

Taylor has seen 1,784 positive and 21 deaths.

Wood has seen 6,669 positive and 74 deaths.
