Fairchild Man Makes Court Appearance for Sexual Assault

-A Fairchild man made an appearance in Eau Claire County Court on Tuesday for allegedly sexually assaulting an underage girl.Christopher Wampole Sr., age 41, has been charged with 2nd degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement-sexual contact.
According to the criminal complaint, a 15-year-old girl had been texting Wampole Sr. and his son, 17-year-old Christopher Wampole Jr., and she agreed to meet the son for sex.
She said that after the two men picked her up, they went to an outside location and then Wampole Sr. told his son to wait in the truck. The father then had sex with her, went back to the vehicle after, told Wampole Jr. that she was waiting for him and then the son also had sex with her.
Wampole Sr.'s $10,000 cash bond will continue and his son is currently free on a signature bond. Wampole Jr. will appear in court in November.
