Escaped Convicted Murderer Captured In Florida

A convicted murderer who disappeared from a job site in Vilas County has been apprehended. 54 year old Todd Brecht was taken into custody without incident in Orlando, Florida according to the Oneida County Sheriff?s Department.Last Tuesday evening, the Oneida County Sheriff?s Department received a call reporting Brecht missing from the Camp McNaughton State Prison. Brecht had vanished from a job site around noon that day.
In a release, Sheriff Grady Hartman stated, "I would like to thank all agencies for their cooperative investigative assistance, which lead to the apprehension of the suspect."
