Name Released In Loyal Deadly Accident

The name of a Loyal man who died after being hospitalized following a traffic crash has been released.On September 5th just before 3:30pm, 82-year-old Franklin Wilke was riding an electric scooter down the middle of the street when he was struck by a car driven by a 71-year-old Peter Rinka.
Wilke was taken to Ministry St. Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield, but he has passed away due to his injuries. No citations have been issued for the incident and the death is still under investigation.
