A Quick Meeting for the Neillsville School Board on Monday

-The Neillsville School Board held a short meeting on Monday night.The board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Neillsville Police Department which means that off duty officers are able to carry weapons onto school property.
The board also approved an agreement with the Senior Community Service Employment Program.
Several donations were accepted including school supplies from the Marshfield Clinic Dental Center and Memorial Medical Center in partnership with the United Way. The Neillsville Hospital Auxiliary also donated back packs to the district.
In employment matters, Leah Boon?s resignation as the guidance counselor was approved and the hiring of Megan Schroeder, with a one-year contract, as the new guidance counselor was also approved.
