Neillsville City Council Begins Budget Process

-The Neillsville City Council approved several items important to the budget process as they start down the road in preparing for the 2014 budget.The council approved the audit services for 2013, 2014 and 2015. They chose Clifton Larson Allen for a three year agreement. The cost per year will be $21,500, $21,600 and $21,700 as they receive a $100 increase each year. They will also charge $1,500 to $2,500 for a single audit.
The council also approved the assessor services for 2013, 2014 and 2015. The city approved a three year agreement with Associated Appraisal Consultants, Inc. The cost per year will be $6,800, $6,850 and $6,900 as they receive a $50 increase each year.
Finally, the council approved a one-year agreement with Paul Wiese Risk Management Services as an insurance consultant. The cost there will be $2,100.
