Dr. Greg Foster Commended by Governor Scott Walker

-Dr. Greg Foster of Neillsville received commendation from Governor Scott Walker for service on the State Board.On August 28th, Dr. Foster received a certificate of appreciation from the governor for eight years of service on the State of 'Wisconsin's' Optometry Examining Board.
Dr. Foster attended his first meeting in September of 2005 after being fully approved by the State Senate who votes on the members, but not before their qualifications are reviewed by the State Senate Health Committee. He was originally appointed by Governor Jim Doyle to fill in for the remaining term of a former member.
The OEB protects the public by ensuring safe and competent practice of licensed optometrists. They also oversee the testing and licensing of doctors of optometry in the state.
Dr. Foster said, ?I am grateful to Governor?s Doyle and Walker and the people of Wisconsin for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.?
