Memorial Medical Center Welcomes Back Tina Opelt

-Area residents had an opportunity to welcome Tina Opelt back to Memorial Medical Center Wednesday afternoon.Tina is looking forward to working with and caring for her friends and neighbors in Neillsville.
"I'm most excited about having the chance to continue taking care of neighbors, friends, family. People that I have grown to know and care about as a provider and also as a friend."
Tina also talked about the uncertain of the new federal healthcare law and what she feels MMC can do to ease that worry.
"Most of their concerns is the increase of their financial responsibilities. Everyone's deductible is going up. As a provider, what I see our biggest challenge is, is to help patients see the value of what they are now having to pay more for. Which means, if you're responsible for a bigger chunk financially, you want them to be satisfied when they leave."
Tina said there is one big advantage to working in a hospital like MMC.
"The decisions stay here. We as staff, not just medical providers, but all of the staff truly have a voice."
Tina will begin seeing patients Monday, September 23rd at the Neillsville Clinic. She will see patients Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:15am to 3:30pm.
