"Mingle" Event A Big Success

Mingle was indeed a special event. 180 people gathered at the Tuft?s Mansion on September 5th, and enjoyed an evening of fine food, entertainment, auctions, and mingling.?This event is all about community. We get to help support local health care needs AND spend time at a great venue. It?s a plus for everyone. Mingle is elegant, social, informative, and useful all rolled into one package? commented Dr. Kenneth Weimer, MMC Pediatrician. Dr. Weimer attended Mingle for the second year with his wife and family members.
The ?Mingle? event is an annual fundraiser aimed at raising funds and awareness for Memorial Medical Center. This year, the event was charged with helping MMC purchase a new portable X-Ray unit for the Diagnostic Imaging Department. ?I am happy to report that with the funds raised at Mingle, and with a grant from the Listeman Foundation, MMC will be able to purchase the new portable X-Ray unit,? commented Shelley Janke, Foundation Manager.
