Another Candidate for the 69th Assembly Seat: Alanna Feddick

Thursday, September 12th, 2013 -- 11:29 AM

-Another candidate has thrown her name into the ring for the 69th Assembly Seat.

Alanna Feddick, who will be running as a republican, has served on the Marshfield City Council for the past 9 years and she also began her own successful small business in 2003.

Alanna said she?s very proud to be from Wisconsin and wants to take the conservative tactics she learned being a part of Marshfield?s City Council to the state level.

"I am so proud to be from Wisconsin and I want other people to feel the same way. I have always worked hard to keep taxes low in Marshfield. I've always worked to hard to make sure government stayed as small as possible. We've actually cut some of the city government in Marshfield and we were able to work on that through the budgetary process."

Alanna believes jobs need to be brought to Clark County and not just government jobs.

"I believe that it is so important to get good paying jobs, not just government jobs, in Clark County, but foster an environment that creates good, secure paying jobs for people."

Alanna said she has never been the kind of person to do something just because it's easy.

"I have never been one to rubber stamp anything. Just because administration says it's the right thing to do doesn't mean that it is the right thing to do. And so I look at every decision that I make for my residents currently and I would continue to do that as a state representative."

Alanna Feddick joins Stratford business man Bob Kulp, Marshfield resident Scott Noble, and Granton business owner Tommy Dahlen in the race for the 69th Assembly seat which was vacated by Scott Suder last week. The primary for the special election is October 22nd and the Special Election is November 19th.
