Governor Walker Announces Special Election Dates for 69th Assembly Seat

Wednesday, September 4th, 2013 -- 11:37 AM

-Governor Scott Walker has announced the special election for the 69th State Assembly District.

The timeline for the special election will begin on September 4th with the circulation of nomination papers. Then on September 24th the circulation of nomination papers ends.

If a primary election is necessary that will take place on October 22nd with the actual Special Election Day taking place on November 19th.

The special election follows, of course, the resignation of Assembly Majority Leader Scott Suder.

As of now, two candidates are running for the seat. Scott Noble of Marshfield and Bob Kulp of Stratford are seeking the position of 69th Assembly Representative. Deb Koncel resigned from the race on Wednesday and has offered her support for Bob Kulp.
