Memorandum of Understanding at Greenwood City Council Meeting

-Greenwood?s Police Chief gave an update on some items he?s worked on in the past month during Greenwood?s City Council Meeting.Greenwood Police Chief Bock gave his overtime report and he also talked about the Memorandum of Understanding with the Greenwood School District.
Currently off duty police officers are not allowed to have a firearm in the school. This memorandum would address that and allow them to carry off duty in the Greenwood High School. Greenwood?s District Administrator, Jennifer Vogler, is ok with the memorandum. The Memorandum of Understanding will go to Attorney Sautebin to modify it for the Greenwood School District and it will be brought back to the Council for approval.
He also mentioned that the new squad car is here and running and the old squad traded in.
Finally, Chief Bock reported to the council regarding the Library Board meeting. He said Connie Scheel has terminated her employment with the Library on August 6th and the library is in the process of hiring 2 part-time employees.
