Administrator's Reports at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-Several items were approved in preparation for the new school year at the Neillsville School Board Meeting.

The board approved the Wisconsin Morning Milk Program and the Federal Morning Milk Plan for the 2013-2014 school year. They also approved the offer vs. serve meal contract for the upcoming year.

Changes to the 2013-2014 Staff Handbook were also approved.

The board also heard the administrator?s reports at the meeting. Elementary Principal Tim Rueth reported on summer school, the current staffing situation and the new student management system.

High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on PIE time, the Parent Teacher Community Connection group, student registrations and scheduling.

District Administrator John Gaier reported on a thank you card, the WASB Fall Regional Meeting, a Chippewa Valley Technical College grant approval, the instructional facilitator?s duties, the free flu vaccine clinic on October 1st and a Fund 80 report from Davis-Kuelthau.

Mr. Gaier also gave an update from Boardman and Clark, an email regarding student cell phone use, an article on the school voucher program, three Focus articles, a summary of nursing activities, an update on the Race to the Top Grant and a recreational use checklist.
