-With the Clark County Fair fast approaching, a new Fairest of the Fair will soon be crowned.

There are seven candidates competing for the title this year each from a different part of Clark County.

Miss Schmelzer was involved with many activities when she was in high school. She was vice president of the FFA, vice president of student council, part of the FCA, FBLA, O-W Club, a teacher?s assistant and a mentor/mentee.

Miss Schmelzer has also volunteered with her church, she?s part of the Woodgrove Workers 4-H club where she has been a youth leader and shown various animals. She?s also served in several officer positions.

Miss Schmelzer works on the farm and during the summer she works at the Abbyland Truckstop in Curtiss.
