-With the Clark County Fair fast approaching, a new Fairest of the Fair will soon be crowned.

There are seven candidates competing for the title this year each from a different part of Clark County.

Kelsey Rueth, of Neillsville, will be a Freshman in college this fall and she?s being sponsored by Sniteman Pharmacy.

Miss Rueth was involved with many activities. She was last year?s Miss Neillsville, was Senior Class Treasurer, Student Council Secretary and Band/Choir President. She was also in NHS, FFA, 4-H, the Big Buddy/Little Buddy Program, and the Gifted and Talented Program.

Miss Rueth also volunteers with Sunday and Summer School, church choir, church youth group and is a helper at Vacation Bible School. She has also sang the National Anthem for different events and played in the band for them as well.

Miss Rueth currently works at Sniteman?s Pharmacy here in Neillsville. When she has some free time she likes to spend time with her family, attends the June Dairy Breakfasts, goes to parades, camping, boating, 4-wheeling and playing with her dog. She also enjoys singing, playing her trumpet, dancing and going for long walks.

Miss Rueth graduated from Neillsville this past May and she will be attending UW-Marshfield in the Fall to pursue a degree in nursing and then she will go to UW-Eau Claire to continue her education. Her goal is to become a registered nurse.
