Murder Charges Filed Against Man Involved With Black River Falls Murder

Friday, July 26th, 2013 -- 1:45 PM

-Murder charges have been filed against the man suspected of killing a woman in her Black River Falls home.

Back in June, the Black River Falls Police Department responded to a home in Black River Falls. When they arrived, they found the body of 34-year-old Angela Nelson who, they say, did not die of natural causes.

Officers named Michael Harmon, age 36, the roommate of Nelson and the last person to see her alive, as a person of interest. Harmon was heard arguing loudly with Nelson before the incident occurred.

Later, Harmon had disappeared in the Milwaukee area and was finally located after an 11 day search. He has been in the Jackson County Jail on a probation violation.

Harmon has one 1st Degree Homicide charge filed against him.

He will appear in court August 2nd.
