Arts in Clark Wants Your Photos of the County

-The newly formed Arts in Clark organization is requesting entries for their ?Capturing Clark Photo Contest.?The Arts in Clark organization was formed earlier this year and is currently holding this contest for the first year. They hope that it will become an annual event.
Kris Leonhardt and Diane Opelt, two members of the organization, talked about where the idea for the contest came from.
Kris said, "We were looking for a project to start with for our association. We wanted to promote the beauty and intrigue of the county."
Diane added, "we are also in partnership with the Clark County Economic Development Corporation. They're in need of many photographs in order to promote the county."
The organization is hoping for lots of entries. Not only will the entries be used for promotional items, but a traveling wall will be made, moving from community to community to honor the winners. A reception for the winners will be held at Munson Bride Winery on October 18th from 5pm-7pm.
