Several Policies Approved at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-Several policies were approved at the Greenwood School Board Meeting on Monday.The first reading of the Mentoring Handbook was approved. The handbook was developed based on the recommendations that the district received from their Mentor / Mentee meetings during the last school year.
The board also approved the first reading of the fitness room advisor policy and the seconding reading of the animals in school policy.
The middle and high school activities code was approved and no changes have been made since last year.
The board also decided to designate Greenwood?s School Newsletter as the official school newspaper with the TRG as the alternate.
Finally, the board approved Weld, Riley, Prenn, and Ricci as the district?s legal counsel and they approved the $150 petty cash for the middle/high school. The elementary has none.
