Cadott Woman Makes Initial Appearance for Homicide

-A Cadott woman had an initial appearance in Chippewa County Court for her part in an accident that resulted in the death of a dentist from Stanley.On June 1st, Robert Tschabrun, age 71, was riding his bike outside of Stanley when he was hit killed. After an investigation, they found out that Krista Holler, age 27, was the driver that hit him and she turned herself in last month.
Charges were filed on Friday for the incident and they include homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle.
A Chippewa County judge said that a new judge will be brought in for the case as all three in the county are familiar with Holler. She has an uncle that works in the Chippewa County Sherriff?s Department.
The District Attorney from Barron County will prosecute the case.
